Man's influence on his environment and the society he lives in has consequences and repercussions that outlive his lifetime. Moreover we fail to learn from the negative repercussions and instead see history repeating itself as people continue to act out of desire for power, greed, ignorance (whether real or feigned), callousness, and a lack of global compassion.
